Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Miorly Auto. This is a draft written for the current development stage — it is not a finalized, legally-reviewed document, and must not be treated as one until qualified legal counsel has reviewed it.
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Miorly Auto, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, don't use the product.
Age requirement
You must meet the minimum age required by the law of your country to create an account and use Miorly Auto.
Your account
You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure once real authentication is connected.
You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission.
Responsibility for content
You're responsible for what you post, including its accuracy and legality. Miorly Auto doesn't pre-screen content before it's published.
License to your content
You keep ownership of the content you post. By posting it, you grant Miorly Auto a license to host, display, and distribute it within the product so the service can function (for example, showing your posts to other users).
Prohibited use
In addition to the Community Guidelines, you may not:
- Use the platform for fraud, scams, or illegal sales.
- Attempt to bypass security controls, rate limits, or access controls.
- Scrape or harvest data at scale without authorization.
- Use the AI Assistant to request help with illegal or unsafe activity — requests like odometer rollback, VIN forgery, immobilizer bypass, illegal emissions defeat, or dangerous driving instructions are refused (see Safety Rules).
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying AI provider configuration or system prompts for abuse.
Automotive recommendations
Diagnostic and maintenance information — whether AI-generated or from community members — is informational and not a substitute for a qualified mechanic's inspection. See the Safety Rules for the details.
AI features
AI features run through a provider abstraction, entirely server-side. The current build uses a deterministic mock provider with no external calls.
AI outputs are validated against a structured schema before you see them, and safety-critical answers are hardened by AutomotiveSafetyPolicy regardless of what the underlying model produced.
No guarantee of diagnostic accuracy
Miorly Auto does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of any AI-generated or user-generated automotive advice. You use it at your own risk and should always verify safety-critical information independently.
Third-party services
The product may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g. hosting, database, and future AI providers). We aren't responsible for those services' own terms or practices.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines, proportionate to the violation.
You can request deletion of your account at any time from Settings → Data. Deletion is processed after a grace period, not instantly, so it can be reversed if requested by mistake.
Content removal
We may remove content that violates the Community Guidelines or these Terms, including in response to a report.
Intellectual property
The Miorly Auto name, wordmark, and product design are the property of Miorly Group. You don't get any rights to them beyond using the product as intended.
Changes to the service
Features may change, be added, or be removed as the product develops. We'll try to communicate material changes where practical.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" during this development stage, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. This section will be finalized with qualified legal counsel before a public production launch.
Termination of use
You may stop using Miorly Auto at any time. These Terms survive termination to the extent they reasonably need to (for example, provisions about content you've already posted).
Governing law
Governing law: GOVERNING_LAW_JURISDICTION_PLACEHOLDER (to be set before launch). This is a placeholder pending a decision on the legal entity and jurisdiction for Miorly Group's public launch.
